Peterborough United are delighted to announce that Gymkit UK have been named as the football club’s new Gym Equipment and Sports Flooring Provider for the 2021-2022 campaign.
“We are proud to be the official Gym equipment and Sports Flooring provider for Peterborough United. Working together with the club, we provide a turnkey solution for all the clubs and player’s needs. We also extend our services to the Peterborough United fans who might be looking to fit-out a home gym and can benefit from our expertise.
“Most recently we have worked with the club to equip their strength and conditioning facility at their newly branded training ground gym, “The Posh Gym – Powered by Gymkit UK’’. All players can now enjoy training on the new lifting platforms, S&C equipment and flooring. Our thanks to the club and Craig Smith and Alex Harris for working with us on such an exciting project,” Steven Sykes, Sales Director at Gymkit UK said.
Head of Sports Science at Posh, Craig Smith, added: “We are absolutely delighted to be teaming up with Gym Kit UK to install the new Strength & Conditioning facility at the idverde Training Ground. The newly branded and equipped gym will provide top class facilities for all the players at the club to empower themselves to be the best they can be.
“The old equipment had become tired and damaged through the heavy wear and tear it takes with the number of players who use the gym on a weekly basis, so it is great that the owners have supported this process of revamping an important area for the club. Special thanks must go to Alex Harris, along with Kerri and Steve at Gym Kit UK for all their help in getting this deal finalised and over the line.”
