Posh Women will begin their new campaign with a home fixture against Wem Town Ladies.

The Peterborough United Women will begin their Women’s National League Division One Midlands campaign with a home fixture against Wem Town Ladies on Sunday 15th August before a trip to Bedworth United seven days later.

Chloe Brown’s side are scheduled to finish the campaign at home to Sporting Khalsa, but all fixtures within the schedule are subject to change. At present, Posh jhave three successive fixtures to conclude the campaign. The women will also face cup competitions, which will be scheduled in shortly. Meanwhile, the reserves will learn their fixtures for the new campaign in August.

It is a tough start for Posh following promotion last term, but the management team are very much looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead. Manager Chloe Brown said: “It is great to be back in pre-season training and we are very much looking forward to the games programme we have scheduled because ultimately you can’t replicate match fitness in training sessions. It is a very exciting time for the squad, moving up a division and we are all ready for what is to come.”

The Women are always on the lookout for new players to add to the squad. If you want to find out more, please email jenna.lusk@theposh.com.
