Peterborough United’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on Saturday has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The playing surface has been covered throughout the week and the club have worked tirelessly in an effort to get the game on. However, after an inviting a local referee to inspect the playing surface, and with temperatures set to plummet well below freezing and no signs of it getting above zero on Saturday, the game has been called off.
A new date has yet to be arranged for the fixture. Supporters who have purchased an iFollow match pass should note that it will remain valid for when the game is re-arranged.
