Posh welcome Holwell Sports to the Idverde Training Ground on Wednesday evening.
Peterborough United Women’s entertain Holwell Sports FC at the Idverde Training Ground on Wednesday evening (7:45pm) as Chloe Brown’s side look forward to their first game at home in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands.
The Ladies got off to the perfect start in their 2021/22 campaign after a comfortable 5-1 victory over Bedworth United on Sunday that included a seven-minute hat-trick from captain Keir Perkins, with Posh keen to continue that momentum heading into their first league game at home. Similar to Posh, Holwell Sports also began their campaign on Sunday but were defeated by Solihull Moors at Holwell Sports Club.
Tomorrow evening game will also be the first game where crowds will be allowed in the stands since March 2020, and we want to welcome as many supporters as possible to be part of an exciting period for the Ladies.

Defender Hollie Lewis suffered an ankle injury in the victory over Bedworth United at the weekend and will spend the next few weeks on the sidelines while Elizabeth Santiago and Sophie Powell are both unavailable for selection.
Katie Cooper is set to remain in goal for the fixture against Holwell Sports, with fellow reserve player Destiny Majakanoula could also be included in the first-team tomorrow evening.
