Club looking to get in touch with supporters across the globe.

In 2018, we began a project to discover Peterborough United supporters around the world with supporters’ groups set up in America, Norway, Japan and Brazil – and that is just those that we are aware of.

With the pandemic sending more and more people online, the scope of reach for Peterborough United is growing all of the time and to that end, the football club is keen to discover more fans across the globe.

We are also looking to set up an ‘international Posh focus group’ which will look at ways of growing the overseas presence and of course, in turn, spreading the fan base far and wide.

If you are based overseas (not just on holiday) email with a selfie of you in your home village/town/city next to a landmark or road sign and a brief overview of your support for the football club.

Alex Lucas will be in touch in relation to the focus group and said: “We know of supporters in some incredible locations around the world and recognise a host of supporters groups in countries including Norway and Brazil and in the last six months, we have been in contact with fans in America and Canada around setting up supporters’ groups there too. We are sure there are many more fans dotted across the globe and can’t wait to get in touch with them too.”
