The Posh Ladies get their new season underway with a cup clash at Whittlesey on Sunday.
On Sunday (6th September) the Posh Ladies kick off their 2020/21 campaign with an away tie against Whittlesey Athletic Ladies in the FA Cup extra-preliminary round. Having had a long time off, the Posh Ladies are back in action this Sunday and raring to go!
The Ladies have been back in training since July following the national lockdown, and will be looking to make up for lost time having been denied promotion from the previous season
Natasha Buckland, newly appointed manager of the Ladies, said: “We’re really looking forward to getting the season underway on Sunday. Preparations have been going well with a new coaching team and new players. We are looking to start our FA Cup campaign with a positive result and strong performance on Sunday, and hope to have a successful cup run.”
The winner of this tie will go on to face Royston Town in the preliminary round on 20th September. A week later the Ladies will begin their league campaign with a trip to Ollerton Town.
