Happy New Year to all Posh Fans! 2020 has arrived already!

The Christmas period for us fans was certainly a busy one with four away games! A huge thank you to everyone who made the trips to Bristol, Rotherham, Lincoln and Burnley your support has been very much appreciated. The Christmas period was a tricky time with results on the pitch being disappointing, but it is important that we stick together and get behind the team in the second half of the season to achieve the ultimate goal of promotion.

On Monday the Supporters Groups, myself and Bob Symns met for our monthly meeting. Amongst the things discussed this week were the Stadium purchase, Season Tickets and Fans behaviour. Speaking to many other SLO’s we are very fortunate that the supporters’ groups have the opportunity to meet with senior management of the club and we should be extremely grateful for this.

The visit of Gillingham will see us host 2,000 players from Peterborough Junior Alliance and S-Tech Girls & Women’s League as part of the clubs Charter Standard day. The club are extremely proud of the work they do in the community and within local schools. Tomorrow will just enhance this further, we hope everyone enjoys it and has a great day!

You may have seen from the clubs’ website, we are looking to enhance on Fan Engagement Assistants team further and if you would be interested in the role please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our trip to AFC Wimbledon next week coincides with their Day of Action to tackle discrimination. As a club we will be supporting them and I will be handing out to supporters a message to be held up prior to kick off. We hope that all supporters will join is and support this next week.

If anyone is free on Thursday 30th January PISA have organised an excellent Holy Trinity Night to be held at Ebenezers. All proceeds for this event will go towards Tommy Robson. I am sure it will be a sell out so I would get in and purchase your tickets as soon as possible from Ebs or the Club Shop.

Last week’s FA Cup game saw matches delayed by one minute to raise awareness of Mental Health issues. It is always good to talk and if any Posh fan want to chat my number is 07760 222487 and always available.
