The Peterborough School were the latest Primary School to receive a visit from the football club.
The 2019-2020 Schools Initiative continued last Monday with a visit to the Peterborough School on Thorpe Road in Peterborough as mascot Peter Burrow provided the entertainment during an interactive 14-minute assembly, which featured a short DVD and plenty of fun.
The pupils in the school received a FREE ticket to a forthcoming fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium which also enables an adult to watch free of charge. The Posh Academy also provided a free coaching session for youngsters at the school following the assembly.
Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “It was our first time at the Peterborough School and we received a very warm welcome. We were joined by a coach from the Posh Academy to deliver a free coaching session which I am sure the kids enjoyed.
“We look forward to welcoming youngsters from the school to a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium.”
