Wycombe Wanderers visit the Weston Homes Stadium on Tuesday night in Sky Bet League One action (7.45pm).

Peterborough United look to get back on track after a disappointing run of form over the Christmas and New Year period when they host Wycombe Wanderers at the Weston Homes Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

The Chairboys arrested their own dip in form with a last gasp 2-1 victory over Rochdale at Adams Park on Saturday while Posh slipped to a 1-0 defeat at AFC Wimbledon with Joe Pigott’s goal the difference on a day where Darren Ferguson’s men missed a hatful of chances in front of goal.

TEAM NEWS

Posh welcome back Siriki Dembele from suspension and Nathan Thompson from injury for the clash with Wanderers. Mark Beevers is also available after suspension but Josh Knight, Frazer Blake-Tracy and Idris Kanu are all ruled out.

Wycombe are expected to stick in the main with the line-up that saw them beat Rochdale at the weekend.

FROM THE GAFFER

“Wycombe are where they are in the league for a reason. They have some good players, have a lot of flair in attacking positions and have options, but I have options too. We know that our run of form has been poor. We have to turn it around and quickly. The challenge is right in front of us. Everyone would have written us off, everyone will say this is typical Peterborough, they fall away, I have to make sure that doesn’t happen,” Darren Ferguson said.
