On Tuesday, the Schools Initiative visited Wheatfields Primary School.
On Tuesday afternoon, the football club and mascot Peter Burrow visited Wheatfields Primary School in St Ives as part of the Schools Initiative as we delivered a special assembly for youngsters in the hall.
Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket to watch a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “It was great to head out to St. Ives and spend some time at Wheatfields Primary School. We received a very warm welcome and had an enthusiastic response.
“We hope that everybody at the school enjoyed themselves and look forward to welcoming them all to a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium.
