The Schools Initiative continued last Friday with a visit to Werrington.
The Peterborough United Schools Initiative continued last Friday with a visit to Welbourne Primary School in Werrington as mascot Peter Burrow helped to entertain pupils during a lively school assembly.
Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket to a forthcoming match at the Weston Homes Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “We received a very warm welcome at Welbourne Primary School and it was great to see the school so enthusiastic about our visit.
“We hope that the pupils enjoyed our visit and we look forward to welcoming them at a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium.
