On Monday, Peter Burrow was the special guest at the latest school assembly.

The Peterborough United Schools Initiative completed the first of two school assemblies on Monday with a visit to Ravensthorpe Primary School as mascot Peter Burrow continued his quest to visit every school within a one-hour radius of the football club.

Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket to watch a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “It has actually been a while since we delivered an assembly in the heart of the city so it was good to get to Ravensthorpe and see the youngsters at the school.

“We hope they enjoyed meeting Peter and we look forward to welcoming them to a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium.
