On Wednesday the Schools Initiative paid a visit to Wisbech.

On Wednesday afternoon, the football club and mascot Peter Burrow visited Nene and Ramnoth Primary School in Wisbech as part of the Schools Initiative as we delivered an assembly for over 450 children, all thoroughly excited to participate in our interactive 12-minute show!

Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket to watch a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “Wow! It is fair to say that the pupils at this school were very excited to have us deliver an assembly for them. They were enthusiastic, loud and engaged and hopefully they enjoyed themselves!

“We look forward to welcoming them to a forthcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium. Prior to the assembly we were also able to deliver an hour’s worth of free coaching thanks to the Posh Academy and the Posh Foundation.”
