The Schools Initiative continued last Thursday with a visit to Billingborough.

The Peterborough United Schools Initiative continued last Thursday with a visit to Billingborough Primary School near Sleaford as mascot Peter Burrow helped to entertain pupils before the Posh Foundation delivered a coaching session for close to 40 girls.

Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket to a forthcoming match at the Weston Homes Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “It was great to make the journey out to Billingborough. Although it is a good 45 minutes away, this school were thrilled to receive a visit and not only that, our coaches were able to deliver a fun coaching session for lots of sport-loving girls.

“We hope that they are able to take advantage of the free tickets and come and see us at an upcoming game at the Weston Homes Stadium.”
