Following the news that broke this morning that Peterborough-based travel company Thomas Cook has ceased trading, the football club would like to offer Thomas Cook employees free tickets for our fixture vs. AFC Wimbledon this Saturday (3pm kick off) as a small gesture to show our support for the city and its people.
The football club and Thomas Cook have enjoyed a long-standing relationship since the travel business moved its headquarters to the city in 1977 with Thomas Cook sponsoring our shirts and the South Stand for a prolonged period in the ‘90s.
Thomas Cook employees must visit the Ticket Office at the Weston Homes Stadium and provide proof of employment to secure their free match ticket. Additional tickets for the children of those affected are also available for a nominal fee.
The Ticket Office at the Weston Homes Stadium is open until 5pm this evening (Monday) and from 9am-5pm throughout the rest of this week. The Ticket Office is then open from 10am on Saturday.
