England U20s will host the Czech Republic in an international at the Weston Homes Stadium.

The Young Lions will take on the Czechs at the Weston Homes Stadium on Monday 14th October (7pm BST KO) and tickets are now on sale at www.theposhtickets.com and at the Weston Homes Stadium Ticket Office.

Tickets are on sale now for England v Czech Republic priced £5 for adults and £1 for children and over-65s. The South Stand and Motorpoint Stand are close to capacity so the Main North Stand is now open for supporters.

Group booking discounts are priced at £2.50 for adults and 50p for children and over-65's and are available for groups of 15+ people.

England kicked-off their season in September when they were held to a goal-less draw by the Netherlands in Shrewsbury, before they picked up a deserved win against Switzerland thanks to Jack Clarke’s goal in St. Jakob.

Downing said: “It's a great opportunity at this age group to take the team around England, to play in stadiums and give the players experience representing their country while being on the road. We are really looking forward to playing at Peterborough and we hope we can attract a good size crowd that will get behind the team.

“Czech Republic will provide a tough test for us this evening and I'm sure it will make for an entertaining game. These are the kind of games that we want our players to be involved in so they can develop their international careers.”

Peterborough United club secretary Liz Elsom said: “We are pleased to be working with the Football Association and are delighted to stage this fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium.

“We feel this is a great way of showcasing our football club and hopefully it can lead to further international fixtures in the future. We look forward to welcoming supporters from both nations and look forward to an exciting evening.”

England last faced the Czech Republic in October 2018, where Eddie Nketiah’s goal was cancelled out by a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw in Budevice.
