The Schools Initiative continued on Friday morning with a visit to Lionel Walden Primary School in Doddington.
On Friday morning, the football club visited Lionel Walden Primary School as part of the Schools Initiative and we received a very warm welcome from the teachers and staff at the Doddington-based school.
Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket to a forthcoming fixture at the ABAX Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “It was great to see such enthusiasm from the school for our visit and we hope that all of the youngsters thoroughly enjoyed the assembly and meeting Peter Burrow.
“We hope that to see youngsters from the school at an upcoming fixture at the ABAX Stadium and thank everyone for their welcome.”
