The summer break has disappeared and we now start the real stuff on Saturday. A big thank you to all those fans that made the trips to Stevenage, Reading, Bedford, Grimsby and Deeping Rangers. Your support was very much appreciated by the players.

By now you should have received your season tickets. I understand the frustrations of many regarding the errors made on them; unfortunately this was an error by a third party and out of the clubs control. However I do agree that the situation is not acceptable and I have made my views clear to the ticketing team that needs to be resolved as soon as possible.

On Tuesday we hosted our Under 12 season ticket holders at the Mick George Training Academy for a “first team experience”. We saw over 150 children in attendance and despite the weather a fantastic day was had by all. I would like to place on record my appreciation to the first team management, coaches and staff at the club for really making the youngsters feel part of the day and hopefully it will see many more wanting to come and support the Posh this season. The free season tickets for Under 12s has certainly been a huge success and credit to the Chairman and the owners for this which hopefully will see the next generation of Posh Fans come through and support our football club like us older ones!

This season we are looking to enhance our Fan Experience even further at the Weston Holmes Stadium with the recruitment of six Fan Engagement Assistants. I would like to welcome Simon Parsons, Jack Wood, Val Barnett, Ratibah Ikram, Andy Burrows and Kathryn Favell to the team. They will be situated around the stadium on match days to assist you with any queries you should have. Of course I will still be around the stadium of match days so please do not hesitate to speak to me with your concerns.

Further enhancements have seen Peter Burrow get a new home over in the BGL South Family Stand! Which will certainly keep the youngsters entertained pre-match and at half time. Make sure you have a look out for this on Saturday.

Last of all, the next 9 months will see ups, downs, good days, bad days but above all lots of entertainment. We have certainly had some of our clubs best days under Darren and I like many of you will never forget the atmosphere at London Road for the play off game with MK Dons. It is now time for us the fans to get behind the club, have #AUnitedCity and hopefully achieve the goal of promotion.
