Schools Initiative continued earlier this week with a visit to St. Ives.

The Peterborough United Schools Initiative made a visit to St. Ives on Monday morning as Thorndown Primary School received a visit from mascot Peter Burrow as the club conducted an assembly in front of over 500 pupils.

Each child in the school received a FREE ticket for a forthcoming game which will also allow an adult to watch free of charge. Marketing Executive Jake Baxter said: “It was fantastic to visit Thorndown Primary School in St Ives on Monday. It was great to see a few teachers showing off their flossing skills and everyone was enthusiastic about our visit. We look forward to seeing the youngsters at our opening game of the season against Fleetwood Town.”
