Posh pair shortlisted for monthly awards after fine start.
Peterborough United manager Steve Evans has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for August after a perfect start to the new campaign, while striker Jason Cummings has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month after six goals during August.
The pair will find out if they are successful on Friday. Evans is up against one-time Posh midfielder Dean Keates (Walsall), Jack Ross (Sunderland) and Kenny Jackett (Portsmouth). Cummings is up against Ronan Curtis (Portsmouth), Dimitri Cavare (Barnsley) and Lynden Gooch (Sunderland).
