Plenty of initiatives taking place on Saturday as Posh host Blackpool at the ABAX Stadium.
Peterborough United welcome Blackpool to the ABAX Stadium on Saturday afternoon and supporters attending the Sky Bet League One fixture will notice a number of changes designed to improve the match day experience.
New Collection Booth
The football club have installed a larger Collection Booth which is situated within the Fan Zone (adjacent to the Ticket Office). This is a four-windowed booth which will be manned by ticket office staff. We hope this will help alleviate queues on a match day. It will be open from 12pm on Saturday. Collections can also be made at the Ticket Office from 10am until 12pm.
New Bar & Toilets Installed Behind Terrace
A new bar has been installed behind the Weston Homes London Road Terrace serving alcohol and snacks. New Portaloos are also now available to use behind the terrace.
North Stand Half-time Refreshment Available
To alleviate queues at the kiosks within the Main North Stand (C, D & E Blocks), we are pleased to confirm that the Fan Zone Bar and refreshment stand will be open for supporters from approximately 3.20pm to utilise during the match including half-time within the Fan Zone. This area will be stewarded and supporters can gain access to this area through the stand exit gates.
Beer Tokens
Peterborough United introduced a ‘beer token’ system to help alleviate the queues in the BGL Family Stand, the Motorpoint Stand and the Weston Homes London Road Terrace at the beer bar. Tetley’s, Carlsberg and Kopparberg are available with the new token system. To purchase a beer token, visit the Bar prior to kick-off and then hand over your token at half-time for a speedier service. You may keep any unused tokens and use them at the next home fixture.
E-Ticket Entry
Supporters can now access the ground by scanning their E-Ticket at the turnstiles on their smartphone. E-Tickets are free to use and will ensure you save on delivery charges.
Fan Zone
The Salvation Army will be performing in the Fan Zone for this fixture. They will be alongside the usual inflatables including FootPool and FootDarts.
Match Day Madness
Match day madness will take place from 12pm on Saturday with two style of wallet available for just £8 while stocks last (normally £15/£16). This offer is available in-store only at the Club Shop on Saturday.
