Posh visit Stanwick Academy in Northamptonshire.
The Peterborough United Schools Initiative continued on Wednesday morning with a trip to Northamptonshire and a visit to Stanwick Primary Academy and once again Peter Burrow was the star turn, making sure every pupil in the school got a high five!
All of the pupils received a FREE ticket to a forthcoming Posh fixture at the ABAX Stadium and their parent will also receive a free ticket as part of the initiative. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “Stanwick were actually one of the first schools to contact the football club on the back of seeing a story about a previous visit on the club website.
“We were more than happy to dip into Northamptonshire and maybe we can convert a few Northampton fans into Peterborough ones! We look forward to seeing them at the ABAX Stadium very soon.”
