Schools initiative continued with a first visit to a Peterborough school.
The Peterborough United Schools Initiative continued on Monday afternoon with a visit to Leighton Primary School in Orton Malborne with over 400 children receiving FREE tickets to a forthcoming fixture at the ABAX Stadium.
Peter Burrow was the star attraction, spending time meeting youngsters not just in the assembly but also in their classrooms. Not only did the pupils receive free tickets, but the offer also extends to a parent too.
Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “Leighton was actually the first school that we have visited in the Peterborough area and we received a warm welcome. Although the initiative is designed to engage with kids and schools not in the central Peterborough area, we will be extending it as we move into the New Year to the city.”
