Peter Burrow the star attraction at latest school assembly.
Following a break for half-term, the Peterborough United Schools Initiative returned to action on Monday morning with a visit to Alconbury Primary School and mascot Peter Burrow was once again the star attraction as he met youngsters in the school hall.
All of the pupils at the school received a free ticket to watch Posh in action at the ABAX Stadium at a forthcoming game with the parent also receiving a free ticket. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “We have had a small break due to half-term, but we kicked off again with a great visit to Alconbury Primary School.
“The school made us feel extremely welcome and we hope to see as many youngsters at the school attend a future Posh match as possible. We have schools pretty much every day for the next few weeks and we are on track to hit our target ahead of Christmas.”
