The football club supported the city's popular Parkrun on Saturday morning.
On Saturday morning, members of staff at Peterborough United joined 700 other participants at the city’s Parkrun, which took place at Ferry Meadows.
The football club joined forces with organisers of the regular event to give every participant a FREE ticket to Tuesday night’s Sky Bet League One fixture with AFC Wimbledon at the ABAX Stadium.
Marketing Executive Jake Baxter said: “It was great to see so many out at Ferry Meadows on Saturday morning taking part in the Parkrun. The take up that we have had on these tickets has been great with over 70% of the takers being new supporters who have never visited the ABAX Stadium before. It has been my aim to get us as a club out-and-about in the city more and these type of events are invaluable for us as we try and grow our supporter base."
