A look ahead to Saturday's Emirates FA Cup tie with Bradford.

Peterborough United host fellow Sky Bet League One side Bradford City in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday afternoon at the ABAX Stadium (3pm) with both sides determined to reach the third round draw which takes place on Monday evening.

The two sides met a fortnight ago in the league with the points shared following a 1-1 draw at the ABAX Stadium. Ivan Toney netted the Posh equaliser after the Bantams had secured an early lead.

TEAM NEWS

There are no fresh injury worries for manager Steve Evans and his staff to deal with ahead of the cup-tie with Jason Cummings and Sebastien Bassong expected to be fully fit after slight knocks prevented them from starting Tuesday night’s 1-0 win against AFC Wimbledon.

The visitors have added to their squad since the draw with experienced midfielder Karl Henry bringing extra competition to the middle of the park. Former Posh centre back Nathaniel Knight-Percival is suspended after being sent-off against Oxford. David Ball, who scored against Oxford, is likely to partner Eoin Doyle up front.

FROM THE MANAGER

“Bradford have added to their squad since we played them a fortnight ago and they will arrive stronger for it. They had a good win over Oxford which would have lifted confidence but league form goes out of the window in a cup competition. Both sides want to progress into the third round. We will make a few changes and the standard of training this week has been good with everyone battling for a place.”

FROM THE OPPOSITION

“You wouldn’t think we are a side bottom of League One if you saw the mood around camp. If we keep working hard and keep being difficult to beat then we always have a chance of winning games,” Bradford boss David Hopkin said.
