A look ahead to Tuesday night's clash with AFC Wimbledon.

Peterborough United return to action at the ABAX Stadium on Tuesday night with the visit of AFC Wimbledon in Sky Bet League One action (7.45pm) and a victory for Steve Evans’ men can see them move up the table with Sunderland and Barnsley facing each other.

Posh have won five and drawn two of the last nine matches in all competitions and are unbeaten in four going into the contest with the manager-less Dons who did record a win in their last fixture against Southend United at the weekend.

TEAM NEWS

Posh are once again available to call on a full first team squad for the game with no players currently troubling the medical department. “It is testament to the backroom staff of Ross, Lee and Paul that we are okay injury wise at the minute. We have a full squad to choose from,” said boss Steve Evans.

The visitors are likely to stick with a similar line-up to the one that tasted success against the Shrimpers with former Bradford front man James Hanson expected to lead the line alongside one-time Posh striker Kwesi Appiah.

MANAGER QUOTES

“My assistant Paul Raynor watched them against Southend United at the weekend and they got a good win. They came off the back of a long losing run so they will be full of confidence after the victory. They have some good players but we are focussing on ourselves,” Evans said.
