Posh face long trip to the South West to face Exeter City.
Peterborough United will travel to St. James Park to face Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City in the second round of the Checkatrade Trophy after the draw was made live on Talksport 2 at Friday lunchtime.
Posh progressed through to the knockout stages after beating Luton Town and drawing with Milton Keynes Dons and Brighton and Hove Albion under 21s.
Full details of the tie against the Grecians will be announced in due course but the game is expected to take place in the first week of December.
