Posh ready for Checkatrade Trophy final group game.
Peterborough United are back in action at the ABAX Stadium on Tuesday night (7.45pm) as Luton Town visit for the final group game of the Checkatrade Trophy.
Group H is still very much alive for Steve Evans’ men. A victory over already qualified Luton Town would be enough if Brighton and Hove Albion under 21s and Milton Keynes drew their fixture. A win by a greater margin than the Seagulls or the Dons would also secure progress into the knockout stage of the competition.
The Weston Homes London Road Terrace and the Motorpoint Stand are closed for this fixture. Tickets are priced at just £5 for adults and £1 for concessions for the open areas of the stadium. Manager Steve Evans said: “We will make changes. We want to progress in the competition, but it is important that we take a look at a few of the players within the squad that need game time and perhaps some of the younger players who have done well in the league and the FA Youth Cup.”
