'Jolly Jack' named as next speaker at 'senior citizen' event.
Peterborough United are pleased to announce that the next “guest speaker” at the monthly senior citizen event at the ABAX Stadium will be Hall of Famer Jack Carmichael with the former Posh star set to entertain guests with tales from yesteryear on Wednesday 7th November.
The event in the Caroline Hand Executive Suite will kick-off at 12pm and conclude at 2pm with free tea and coffee provided. Organiser and Club Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “Once again, I would like to thank historian Peter Lane for managing to secure another Hall of Famer to talk about his career and I am sure this one will live long in the memory.
“Jack currently resides in America so we have worked this event around his time in the UK. I am sure Jack will have some wonderful tales from his career on and off the pitch so it is one not to be missed. He has joked that we might need a translator but I am sure he will be understood loud and clear! Again, it is free to attend so we look forward to seeing as many senior citizens present as possible.”
