Posh have announced four pre-season fixtures away from the ABAX Stadium.

Peterborough United are pleased to confirm four away pre-season friendlies prior to the training camp in Portugal with Steve Evan’s men set to utilise his full squad for games at Stamford, Bedford Town, PSL and St Neots (subject to the surface meeting the standard’s required).

Posh will travel to the Zeeco Stadium to face Stamford on Wednesday 4th July (7.30pm) before travelling to the Eyrie to face Bedford Town on Saturday 7th July (3pm). On Tuesday 10th July, Posh will travel to face local non-league side Peterborough Sports (7.30pm) before travelling to Kester Way to face St. Neots on Saturday 14th July (3pm).

Ticket details for the four fixtures will be released in due course. Manager Steve Evans is looking forward to visiting a number of local sides prior to flying out to Portugal with details for that trip also set to be confirmed in due course.

“I am looking forward to taking a Posh side to my old club Stamford and I get on really well with Jimmy Dean, who played for me in the past, and the chairman at PSL, Stephen Cooper. We have a really strong partnership with St. Neots and will strengthen that further with this fixture and Bedford will provide good opposition for us at that stage of pre-season.

“One of my management team will visit the clubs ahead of the games to make sure the pitches are in the condition we would expect but I am sure they will be ready for our visit. It will be a good chance for the Posh fans to see us in action locally and I will ensure that all of my squad get minutes under their belt ahead of our trip to Portugal,” Evans said.
