You can now book on the Easter Fun Days with various sessions at different locations.
Recently we held a very successful week of Fun Days during the February school half-term. We had three busy days at Hampton, where we had over 60 children each day playing in outfield sessions, girls only sessions and a goalkeepers group. Players got the chance to score in the inflatable target goal and on the Wednesday, club captain Jack Baldwin visited to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Our second venue of the week, was Neale Wade, March where over 30 players attended each day.
All courses are delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaches who will put on a variety of fun-based football activities. Our coaches take part in regular CPD and are all FA Licenced, meaning all are emergency aid trained and have completed enhanced DBS checks, as well as the latest safeguarding workshops. We expect high standards of our staff and therefore look to employ people who are capable of delivering engaging activities which are participant focussed.
Children attending will need to bring a packed lunch, plenty of non-fizzy drinks, appropriate clothing for all weathers and footwear suitable for playing on both grass and astro turf, including shin pads.
Players will also get the chance to meet first team stars who will visit for one day at each venue to sign autographs and pose for photos (subject to player availability). All participants receive a certificate of attendance.
A typical Fun Day runs to the following schedule;
- 9.45am - Arrive and Register
- 10am – Warm Up activities and fun games
- 11.30 am – Snack break
- 11.50 am – More fun games and activities
- 1pm Lunch break
- 1.45pm – Afternoon tournaments and matches
- 3pm – End of day collection of players.
We never sell out a Fun Day, we simply add additional staff to our 1:16 coach to participant minimum ratio. More often our ratios are one staff member to eight-ten players. Booking Fun Days cannot be easier, with 24 hour online booking available at www.theposhfundays.com
This Easter we shall be holding events across the two weeks the schools are off in Werrington, Hampton, March and Stamford. Along with our main outfield group, will be girls only and goalkeepers only sessions and a disability session for 5 to 15 year olds at Werrington on the 3rd April.
