The football club visited Westwood Primary School in March earlier this month.
The final visit ahead of Christmas as part of the Schools Initiative, was Westwood Primary School in March and with over 700 pupils on the register, the visit was split over two days with mascot Peter Burrow proving to be a star attraction.
Every pupil at the school received a FREE ticket for a forthcoming fixture at the ABAX Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “It was great to break for the festive period with a visit to such a big school in March, a place where we had yet to visit.
“The school, which is split over two sites, were very welcoming and hopefully we will see plenty of the youngsters at a forthcoming game.”
