Next 'senior citizen' event details have been confirmed.
Following the success of the first ‘senior citizen’ event, we are delighted to confirm that the next monthly get together will take place at 12pm on Wednesday 25th April in the Posh Venue.
Over 50 supporters attended the first free event as former Peterborough United stars Peter McNamee and Roy Banham spoke about their time on and off the pitch.
We are delighted to confirm that another former player from that era will be the guest speaker with Ray Smith taking to the mic to look back on his career. Once again, the event is free to attend, tea and coffee will be available and no tickets are required.
Organiser and press officer Phil Adlam said: “I was pleasantly surprised to see so many people attend the first event despite the inclement weather and it is great to hear a lot of positive feedback. We will certainly be acting on that feedback to try and improve the experience and look forward to welcoming supporters to the next event.”
