Peterborough United Ladies reserves continued their good recent form with a comprehensive victory over Welland Valley.

With both teams unable to hit the target and both keepers making good saves, the first goal was always going to be crucial.

In the 20th minute Jess Lavender managed to poke the ball home from close-range to give Posh the lead. Soon after scoring, Posh kept pushing, allowing them to create another chance for Jess Lavender to slot one past the keeper making it 2-0.

Jeorgia Carr then made it 3-0 but moments after the re-start, the opposition pulled a goal back. However, Posh responded well and scored two late goals to complete the scoring with Carr completing her hat-trick.
