The Posh 'B' team were beaten in a high-scoring encounter.
In this game Peterborough started brightly but in the end Wolves were just too strong to hold off running out 4-3 victors. Peterborough took the lead when they intercepted the ball on the half way line and Findley went onto score.
Wolves then levelled the scores when a counter attack caught Posh out and a one-on-one was toe punted into the net. Wolves then took the lead after Mureza was tackled and another one-on-one was drilled in.
Before half time, Peterborough were level when a Taylor shot hit the post and it rebounded in off the goalkeeper. After the break, Peterborough re-took the lead when Machado ran with the ball and a toe punted finish into the roof of the net.
Wolves then levelled again after a great save from Osman, but the ball rebounded to the man on the edge who smashed the ball into the back of the net. Wolves then got the final goal of the game when a back post run forced an own goal from Renecke. Overall the performance potentially merited a draw, but it was a tight game.
