Elton John and his band bring the 'Wonderful Crazy Night' Tour to the ABAX on Sunday 11th June 2017 and it promises to be a night to remember.
Elton John has over 4,000 performances to his credit since launching his first tour in 1970. Having performed at several of the world’s most recognisable venues – including a pair of residencies at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Elton continues to be one of this country’s biggest pop-culture exports.
Elton celebrated his 70th birthday at the weekend and has entered the 50th year writing partnership with Bernie Taupin. Of his career with Bernie Taupin, Elton simply says, "It's the same excitement now as when we first started. That this year marks the 50thanniversary of my partnership with Bernie Taupin is mind boggling for me because it seems like only yesterday that I met him. It's an amazing achievement to stay with one person for 50 years on a creative basis, in an industry where that doesn't really happen very much."
