Job Title: Futsal Coach

Reports to: Futsal Manager – Michael Johnson

Type of Position: Part-time paid role


Hours: 1 Evening session (Mondays 7.30-9.30pm)

Session rate: Hourly rate negotiable

Job Purpose

To deliver high quality futsal sessions within our futsal development centres.

Job Overview

The job holder will be responsible assisting/ leading for delivering, monitoring and evaluating the key themes at the venues instructed.
The job holder will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the club’s philosophy are sustainable.
Be accountable for the standard of professionalism at all times.

Job Summary

Key Skills and Experience Required: ESSENTIAL
To hold FA Coaching Football Level 2 Qualification, and FA Level 1 in coaching Futsal
Hold a full clean driving license and have access to a vehicle to enable service delivery at different venues.
Have an understanding of Safeguarding issues
Have the ability to assist in supervising and managing a group of young people.
To hold a current Safeguarding and protecting children certificate
Emergency First Aid Certificate
FA Coaching License – Coaches Club

Key Skills and Experience Required: DESIRABLE

FA Level 2 in coaching Futsal

Level 3 Coaching Football – UEFA B

FA Youth Module 1, 2 and 3 + Assessment

Experience of coaching within a professional football/futsal club environment
BFAS First Aid Qualification

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

To be part of a team of Part-time and Full-time Coaches responsible for leading high quality futsal sessions to players ages between 13-14 or 15-16
Other such duties that are reasonably directed by the line manager or their representative from time to time.
Take part in all available in service CPD opportunities to gain further knowledge and increase the high standards of delivery.

Major Objectives

To continue to gain knowledge and help develop the working of the department.
To develop internal relations with all departments at the football club to support the whole club philosophy.

Specific Responsibilities

To assist in the delivery high quality football sessions to elite players aged between 13-14 or 15 -16.
To provide a supporting role at a range of events and competitions as required.
To adopt a flexible approach to ensure all sessions are innovate and provide each individual player with the opportunity to develop.
Implement the Academies administrative procedures and safeguarding policies.
To be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented, and recorded as required.
Attend any relevant training requirements for example, first aid, safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.
