Andrew Hughes visits Hampton Hargate Primary School.

Peterborough United defender Andrew Hughes visited Hampton Hargate Primary School as part of the football club's 'Schools Programme' with just over 650 vouchers distributed to pupils.

Hughes was joined by the always popular Peter Burrow who entertained pupils and teachers alike during a morning assembly.

In the assembly, pupils watched a short DVD of recent Posh goals before being told about the initiative aimed at getting more youngsters to the ABAX Stadium. We were also joined by Gavin Slater from the Community Department, who explained details about the Easter Fun Days and congratulated the school football team who are representing the city in the Community Cup at Milton Keynes later this week.

The offer allows a pupil to watch Posh for FREE with an adult ticket heavily discounted to just £10 in the Motorpoint Stand.

We will be visiting two schools in Stamford in the next two weeks with more schools also scheduled.
