Peterborough United are looking to appoint a Full Time Professional Development Phase (Under 18) Assistant Coach to join our Academy coaching team.

The post involves assisting the coaching programme for the Professional Development Phase and the Youth Team Manager.

This role would suit a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with a proven interest in football coaching, due to the nature of the role it would be advantageous for the successful applicant to be residing in the local area. 

Job Title: Professional Development Phase Coach 

Reports To: Academy Manager

Location: Mick George Training Academy, Nene Park Academy 

Hours: 37.5 hours / subject to requirement 

Remuneration: Dependant on experience and qualifications. 

Job Purpose / Responsibilities: To assist the coaching process for the Professional Development Phase and help oversee the coaching infrastructure within the phase, including the management of squad players and the games programme. 
Assist with delivering the technical programme and player performance tracking. 
Work with the Head of Recruitment to identify and integrate trialists into the development structure. 
Assisting/Leading sessions for players on our full time training programme in the Youth Development Phase, in partnership with Nene Park Academy.

Ensure all PMA requirements are met in line with Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) Rules.

Liaise with external partners to assist with delivery of the life skills programme.

Essential Requirements: UEFA A (Level 4) Coaching Certificate. 
Working towards Advanced Youth Award (enrolled on course). 
FA Youth Award. 
Enhanced DBS Clearance. 
Up to date FA Safeguarding Certificate. 
Up to date FA Emergency Aid Certificate. 
Up to date FA Coaching Licence. 
Experience of working at a professional football club. 

Desirable: Full Clean Driving Licence. 
Basic First Aid in Sport.
