Young Peterborough United defender Sam Cartwright visited the Posh Foundation Summer Fun Days based in Hampton on Wednesday (26th July) afternoon to meet kids attending the football based sessions.
Cartwright, who has featured in the first-team pre-season friendlies against Queens Park Rangers, Ipswich Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers at the ABAX Stadium, spoke to the budding footballers about his experiences playing in those games and training with Grant McCann’s first-team.
Despite the damp weather, the kids were in lively spirits and posed for pictures before being given a signed Posh programme.
