Peterborough United’s Youth Team boss Jack Collison was on hand to present awards to students from Nene Park Academy, who have excelled in sport over the last school year, at their annual sports awards evening last week.

The former West Ham United and Wales international also took part in a question and answer session, looking back at his career and offering advice to the budding sportsmen and women.

“It’s always great to meet young people who are passionate about sport. The football club have a fantastic relationship with the Nene Park Academy so it was great to see the youngsters being rewarded for their efforts,” Collison said.

Kyle Barker, who captained the Posh Under 18s to the David Joyce Cup success last season, scooped the Male Sporting Excellence award, with a number of other Posh academy players also nominated for various sporting awards.
