Championship side to provide Posh with a tough test.

Peterborough United welcome Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town to the ABAX Stadium on Tuesday evening (7pm) who will provide another tough test for manager Grant McCann’s squad.

McCann’s men look to bounce back to winning ways after their 4-2 defeat to Queens Park Rangers, but their second Championship opponents in three days are no easy ride, having scored nine goals and conceding once in their two friendlies so far.

Ahead of tomorrow’s fixture, midfielder Leo Da Sliva Lopes is a major doubt with a slight groin injury, whilst new signing Liam Shephard is doubtful owing to a toe injury. Midfielder Jermaine Anderson remains absent.

This friendly will be a 120-minute match split into four 30-minute periods to allow both sides to fully utilise their squads. Manager Grant McCann said: "Ipswich will be another tough test for us but one we are looking forward to. Mick has brought in a few new additions during the summer including Joe Garner and they will play some decent football."
