Chairman Darragh MacAnthony will make sizeable donation to CTSF if crowd figure surpasses 8,000 against Dons.

Peterborough United renew their rivarly with Milton Keynes Dons at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday (3pm) and chairman Darragh MacAnthony has revealed that if the attendance surpasses 8,000, he will make a sizeable donation to the Chris Turner Statue Fund.

MacAnthony revealed on his Twitter account on Monday that he will personally donate £5,000 to the Fund if the crowd figure is exceeded and supporters have been purchasing tickets at the discounted rate overnight at www.theposhtickets.com.

The clash with the Dons has been designated 'Chris Turner Day' with a collection before and after the 90 minutes and the players' wearing special warm-up tops with Turner's name emblazoned on the back.

The club is urging supporters to participate in a minute's applause for Turner in the fifth minute of the contest.
