Ahead of the unveiling of the Chris Turner statue outside the ABAX Stadium on Friday afternoon, the Peterborough United Club Shop are delighted to confirm that they are now stocking the retro home shirt from 1992 – arguably Turner’s finest moment as he guided his Posh side to victory at Wembley Stadium.
Two Wembley heroes, Marcus Ebdon and Lee Howarth were at the ABAX Stadium to model the shirt once more, which is available for £32. The shirt has the number 5 printed on the back and is available in sizes from Small to 3XL (only available in adult sizes).
With former players, managers and supporters set to watch the unveiling at 3pm on Friday, buying this shirt is a perfect way to celebrate. The Shop will be open from 9am until 5pm on Thursday and Friday with current Posh stars Gwion Edwards, Steven Taylor and Alex Penny in store from 4pm until 4.30pm on Thursday and chairman Darragh MacAnthony in store from 3.30pm on Friday.
