Peterborough United can confirm two pre-season friendly fixtures for July.

The current Sky Bet League One campaign has one fixture remaining with Peterborough United travelling to the Macron Stadium to face promotion-chasing Bolton Wanderers on Sunday lunchtime (12pm), however, plans are in place for preparations ahead of the 2017-2018 season.

Grant McCann's men have a number of friendly fixtures scheduled and we are pleased to confirm that an XI will be in action at Deeping Rangers on Saturday 22nd July (3pm).

Posh will have two fixtures on that day with another opponent set to be confirmed this week, but it will be a perfect opportunity for the club to build on it's work within the community at a local side.

A club spokesman said: "It is important that we continue to engage with the local community and we are very much looking forward to playing Deeping Rangers at Outgang Road. We have strong links with the club already, but we believe this fixture will cement that bond."

Posh can also confirm that McCann's men will be in action at Nuneaton on Tuesday 11th July (7.30pm).

Ticket prices for both of these fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
