Peterborough United are looking to appoint a Full Time Foundation Phase (Under 7-12) Lead Coach to join our Academy coaching team.

The post involves leading the coaching programme for the Foundation Phase and overseeing the coaching infrastructure within the phase, including the management of squad coaches, players and the games programme.

This role would suit a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with a proven interest in football coaching, due to the nature of the role it would be advantageous for the successful applicant to be residing in the local area.

Reports To: Academy Manager

Location: Mick George Training Academy, Nene Park Academy

Hours: 37.5 hours / subject to requirement

Remuneration: Dependant on experience and qualifications.

Job Purpose / Responsibilities: To lead the coaching process for the Foundation Phase and oversee the coaching infrastructure within the phase, including the management of squad coaches, players and the games programme.
Lead the technical programme, coaching syllabus, school release programme and player performance tracking.
Develop relationships with junior clubs, organise tournaments and fixtures.
Work with the Head of Recruitment to identify and integrate trialists into the development structure.
Support squad coaches in the review process.
Appraise all Foundation Phase coaching team.
Assisting/Leading sessions for players on our full time training model, in partnership with Nene Park Academy.

Essential Requirements: UEFA B (Level 3) Coaching Certificate.
Working towards UEFA A (Level 4) Coaching Certificate.
FA Youth Award.
Enhanced DBS Clearance.
Up to date FA Safeguarding Certificate.
Up to date FA Emergency Aid Certificate.
Up to date FA Coaching Licence.
Experience of working at a professional football club.

Desirable: Full Clean Driving Licence.
Basic First Aid in Sport.
