Posh host Walsall at the ABAX Stadium in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday.
Peterborough United return to action at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm) when Walsall visit for a Sky Bet League One fixture.
Grant McCann's men are currently ninth in the division following last weekend's narrow defeat to Sheffield United and could return to the play-off positions with a win over the Saddlers.
Walsall recorded an impressive 1-0 victory over one of the promotion favourites Bolton Wanderers last weekend despite losing Joe Edwards to a straight red card inside the opening 20 minutes.
Edwards will miss the game with Posh after his appeal against the three match ban was rejected by the FA panel.
Posh welcome back Andrew Hughes from suspension after the former Newport County defender missed the 1-0 defeat to the Blades following his red card for handball against Port Vale.
Brad Inman, Jermaine Anderson and Lee Angol are long-term absentees and won't be involved against Walsall who are managed by Jon Whitney.
Former Posh midfielder Erhun Oztumer is expected to feature at the ABAX and has settled into life well with the Saddlers following his summer move.
Manager Grant McCann believes Walsall will provide tough opponents: "Walsall have had a lot of change and it does take a little while for all of those players to settle down, but I think their recent results suggest that they are on the right track.
"It will be a tricky game for us, but obviously I back our boys particularly at home to put in a performance that we know we are capable of. I watched (leaders) Scunthorpe draw at home to Charlton this week and they didn’t play well, but they found a way not to lose and that’s a skill we must learn.
"We have played very well at times this season, but as soon as we let our standards slip we drop points. We haven’t really done 0-0 draws at this club, not in my time at the club anyway, but sometimes that’s a good result. You won’t always play well so finding a way to still get a result is important.”
Tickets for the game are cheaper if purchased in advance. Tickets are available at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934* and in person at the ABAX Stadium Box Office.
*calls cost 7ppm plus your network access fee.
