The Posh 'B' team recorded a victory over Burton Albion.

Posh B needed to get points on the board after suffering a 2-0 defeat in their previous fixture. They looked to make sure they took all three points against a strong Burton side.

However this wasn’t going to plan when Burton got themselves in front as poor defending allowed the Brewers player to convert his shot at the front post to put them ahead.

Posh were now one down at the break and needed to get straight back into the game. Posh came out of the second half trying to get their wide players on the ball, however with Burton pressing, Posh were not quick enough on the ball.

After being wasteful in front of goal, Posh were punished by more poor defending, the Burton player was allowed to run and take a shot which deflected past the Posh's keeper.

Posh needed a goal to get back in the game and they managed to get a goal through Hollis - it was a well worked effort from Mureza to tackle the player and win the ball to look up and find Hollis who was open and smashed past the keeper.

Posh now looked more positive and looked like scoring again and did so to level the game - Hollis who was having a good game pressed Burtons Sierra and he was caught on the ball which allowed Hollis to win it and slot past the keeper.

Burton got themselves back in front straight away as it was played through the middle off Posh's box and gave them a clear shot at goal which they converted. Posh hauled themselves back level through a good through ball to the left side to Mureza who took it on his back foot and placed past the keeper and he made it 4-3 with a very similar goal. Hollis then gave Posh a two-goal cushion for the final time in the contest to secure the victory. Overall a well-earned three points, a battling performance to make sure they collected the points.
