The Posh A side ran out comfortable winners over Leicester City.

Posh A were looking for their first three points off the season after a defeat last time out. Posh A started strongly, looking to move the ball quickly as they can so they can move Leicester out of position, and it worked well.

Posh were looking good going forward, however were getting caught at the back sometimes with players not covering at the back leaving Posh very open. Missed chances started to frustrate Posh and fouls started to accumulate. Leicester were growing into the game and looked good going forward but when Posh were set in shape made it hard for them to break the Blues down.

With Posh frustrated at missed chances, fouls came quick and fast and after many, Posh see a penalty given to Leicester for the 6th foul. However the chance was missed by the Foxes player who failed to convert. Posh came out in the second half looking sharp as they started the first, but Nassunculo managed to put Posh in front, travelling with the ball and beating the goalkeeper to smash the ball home. Posh then got another very quickly after the first. A well worked corner allowed Gray to finish with a powerful drive.

The third goal was all about the high press, Gray intercepting a pass, playing a tidy one two with Findley before rounding the keeper and slotting the ball into an empty net.

Posh managed to get a fourth before the final whistle as from another corner which was taking quickly Nassunculo received it and passed across to Keitly who hit home to secure all three points for the home side.

Overall Posh were excellent moving the ball well creating space and two on one situations with the overlaps.
